Il pianeta era visibile dall&#8217;Italia ma molto basso all&#8217;orizzonte al tramonto e immerso nella luce crepuscolare. L&#8217;altezza del pianeta era poco pi\u00f9 di 15\u00b0 all&#8217;inizio delle riprese e meno di 5\u00b0 alla fine. La strumentazione utilizzata: telescopio Newton f\/4 SkyWatcher da 10&#8243; (254mm), camera CCD raffreddata monocromatica ATIK 490EX, filtro R, montatura Fornax 51.
